U.H.C.B.S. is one of the oldest and most active Croatian societies in Southern California. In addition, this idyllic location in the Foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains is a perfect opportunity to spend time with your family, get reacquainted with friends and meet new people.
This is also a great chance to get away from the everyday ...stress of life and work. You will have an opportunity to sing and dance or simply enjoy the music of one of the greatest Croatian bands from Canada, V.I.S. CROATE! During the day, you will be served the most delicious Croatian food and refreshments.
It is a well known fact that Croatian picnics/festivals help us to become happier people and better spouses, employees, neighbors and friends. So, please join us and bring your friends!

11 Tambura groups from the Canadian Croatian Folklore Federation will be performing various styles of tambura music to make for an exciting program. Performances at University of Illinois-Chicago's Forum Auditorium (725 W. Roosevelt Road, Chicago) by the home group, Klub Stepinac. Guest performances by: Hrvatska Loza (Chicago), KUD Bastina (Chicago), Sacred Heart (Chicago), Jr. Klub Stepinac, and out of town guests Group Croatia (Los Angeles). Tickets are $20.00 and children under 12 $10.00.
After the performances, come to St. Jerome Hall for a buffet style dinner which can be purchased for $10.00 and entertainment for the night will be provided by the popular band, VIS Croate from Canada. You're sure to have a great night!!!!! | | | | | |
